Hotel Stay at Banyan Tree Bintan
Our family had an incredibly enjoyable stay at the Banyan Tree Bintan from 20 to 22 May 2022. Let me share my heartfelt review of our stay there!
We stayed at the BIGGEST villa at the Banyan Tree Bintan - the Ocean View Infinity Pool 2 Room Villa. With a capacity for 4 people, this glorious villa has an overall area of 400 square metres.
Walking in through the main door, the space opened up into a beautifully spacious living area that looked out toward the infinity pool deck and the mesmerising deep blue ocean beyond. Simply gazing out into the ocean brought me an indescribable sense of peace.
Feeling like staying in the room for a day? No problem! Spend a day basking in the sun on one of the many deck chairs or dive into the pool to cool off. Ladies, this is also a perfect spot to take your ootd! Look at how much fun our lil mermaid Chriselle enjoyed lounging around in the private pool!
Leading out from either side of the living area were two identical rooms. Each room contained a king sized bed and its own panel of mirror closets.
To our delight, the rooms also faced out toward the ocean and even had their own connecting doors that led out towards the pool. What a scenic view to wake up to!
Don’t worry about sharing, as each room had its own private ensuite bathroom containing 2 wash basins, a toilet and a shower area.
Impressively, leading out from each ensuite bathroom was also a private outdoor shower and sunken bath, which was a glorious addition to the already lavishly outfitted villa.
There was also an in-room minibar to satiate the occasional peckishness. What we loved was the private terrace that was overlooking the sea, which was perfect for dining with a view!
We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious daily breakfast buffet spread during our stay there! Hubbz particularly enjoyed their porridge and Soto Ayam while I really liked their lil pretty petite muesli cups. They also served an assortment of eggs cooked different ways and every kiddo’s fave must-have prawn crackers.
The staff were incredibly attentive and made a lot of effort in ensuring our stay went on without a hitch! They also offered return transfers between the Bintan ferry terminal and the Banyan Tree Bintan Resort via private car. How thoughtful!
This is definitely one of the most romantic spaces for a proposal or hen’s night event, given that it’s only 45 mins away from Singapore. Our family is so in love with Banyan Tree Bintan. Would totally revisit again!
